An Introduction to Digital Marketing
This one day workshop gives owners and managers of SMEs the opportunity to see how internet based marketing tools and techniques can improve business performance.
The sessions are highly practical with real-life examples and interactive sections to ensure that delegates fully understand how to apply their learnings in a best practice format.
Key areas of the session include:
· Defining what online marketing is, and the differences between online marketing and “traditional” marketing
· How to plan an effective website and choosing the best value options for getting it built
· Making your website attractive to Google and other search engines
· How to attract website visitors and convert them into clients
· Using social media to get business (including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, blogs and LinkedIn)
· The options for online advertising (including Pay-per-Click and Google AdWords), and the advantages and disadvantages
· How to measure the success of online marketing activity
The workshop will be led by highly experienced trainers with a successful track record of enabling small businesses to achieve online success. They’ll be spending time with you in an action planning session at the end of the course to help you define your way forward.
Please note this workshop will be held at the Radisson Park Inn Hotel in West Bromwich.
Course pre-requisites:
The course is aimed at SME business owners and managers who are aware of the possibilities of digital marketing but need a jargon free approach to gaining a better understanding.
These workshops are delivered with funding from Advantage West Midlands which requires us to maximise the number of SMEs receiving support. Due to unprecedented demand and the need for us to be fair and inclusive to all of the SME businesses in the region, companies are only able to apply for one workshop, additionally we are only able to offer one free delegate place at the chosen workshop.
If more than one representative from a company wants to attend a workshop or a representative from a company wants to attend more than one workshop, a nominal fee of £50 +VAT (to cover the cost of venue and refreshments) will be charged per person per workshop.
